Courage

I have heard it said that the definition of courage is the ability to carry on after the enthusiasm has worn off.
When the bell rings and you come out of your corner, gloves are raised high, mouthpiece is in, and you believe that you can win. A few rounds later your eye is hurting and maybe a little blood is coming out your nose but the belief that you can still win never left you. The last round comes you can’t see, your nose is flat, and at that time you have a choice. Throw in the towel or stand up, get out of your corner, and go win that fight! It’s far too easy to quit. After all, people will not remember how you started the fight, just how you finished.
We will finish this fight!
